After our lovely walk around Wineham in June, here are details of our next outing.
Big thanks to Hugh and Jean for sorting out this nice, gentle walk for the warm weather in July.Tuesday 21st July, at 10am – North-east of Pyecombe (about 3.4 miles)
This is a 3.4 mile walk with one stile to the northeast of Pyecombe, skirting Wolstonbury Hill and returning via the northwest end of the village.
Meet: on the road, north of the cul-de-sac sign on Pyecombe Street BN45 7ED.
Come down Clayton Hill (A273) towards the A23 and turn right by the BP Service Station, pass the Plough Inn on the right and keep going straight along.
Parking on the left TQ284131 (after the imitation white gates).
Coffee/food etc. is available at Wayfield Farm Cafe across the footbridge from Pyecombe Street (north end) for those who would like refreshments.
