Thanks to Hugh and Jean for our nice, sheltered walk around Pyecombe in July. Followed by a good coffee stop.
Here are details of our next U3A walk:
Wednesday 26th August 2026, at 10am – Walk from Bolney (4 miles)
An approximately 4 mile walk heading north of the village with views of Wykehurst Park and the Downs, returning via woodland and passing the vineyard.
We've done this before, but not for a while. (We were going to do it last November, but cancelled as we had rain on the day. And snow at 11am ! Those were the days
There may be a bit of mud, but we'll be celebrating if there is, as it will mean we've had rain....
The Community Café at Rawson Hall should be open for a coffee afterwards
(they do Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays).
Meet at the Recreation Ground, on east side of The Street, Bolney, RH17 5PG (0.4 miles from A272, by the Rawson Hall) Map Ref. TQ 263232.
If the car park is busy, you should be able to park on The Street.
